Postgrads (studying for Masters or PhD) house on a quiet tree lined avenue halfway between the University of Southampton and the city centre (within walking distance). Southampton Common is on the doorstep at one end of the road with Portswood a short walk away at the other end.

Super-fast internet / WiFi - 3 connections at 900Mbps.

Every room is furnished with a minimum of a double bed and bedside cabinet, wardrobe, drawers, desk and chair plus a mirror.

There are 9 rooms on 3 floors with a mixture of sizes and en-suite / non en-suite. The spacious house includes a separate large lounge with TV, fully equipped kitchen plus a large entrance hall. Outdoor courtyard to side with garden to the rear, plus front drive for cars, all with security lighting.

One of the virtues of the house is the size which means the house never feels crowded with plenty of space if you want space, but also people around for being social.

Being solid brick construction noise doesn't travel either. This house is well maintained and a licensed student property. There are 2 washing machines and the house is centrally heated (new boiler installed recently).

Being all post grad students there is an excellent like minded community in the house - two thirds of the people in the house have renewed for a second year (or more) in the house. We also welcome post grad students from outside the U. K. who are studying at Southampton University. This academic year we had post grad students from France, Norway, Italy and USA as well as the UK.

The communal areas - kitchen, toilet, bathroom etc. are cleaned weekly by professional cleaners.

Gas, Water, Electricity and Broadband / Wi-Fi included. Gas, Water and Electricity bills plus Council Tax included.

If you have a car there are parking spaces on driveway, bike storage at rear.

A 2 minute walk to The Avenue for the U1, U2 and 1 buses, and few minutes walk in the other direction for bus routes U6 and 2.
