This is a spacious, recently renovated house, situated on a quiet street in Shirley. It’s near to the Southampton General Hospital and well located for access to the city centre and two universities. The shops on Shirley High Street are within a 5-10minute walk.

The room for rent is a good-sized double room on the first floor for single occupancy only. The room comes with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. There’s a shared bathroom and kitchen diner as well as a second WC downstairs.

As well as all the usual kitchen appliances, there is a washing machine and gas central heating. There is free parking outside and on the surrounding streets.

Included in the rent: Gas & Elec, Internet, Water, Council Tax

As a Christian, ideally I'd be looking for a Christian lodger - even though this isn't essential. It would suit someone who is clean, tidy and relatively quiet! It could work well for someone who works at the hospital, attends one of the universities or is in paid work where they are not working from home all of the time.
