I need someone to take over my room for 2026/27. No fee to either of us – Homes for Students confirmed this in writing.

• £146 per week – all utility bills, wifi and contents insurance included
• Tenancy 12 September 2026 to 4 September 2027
• Own bathroom, shared kitchen, study desk
• On-site laundry, communal lounge with pool table, bike storage

LOCATION
• 10 minute walk to Solent University main campus
• 15 minute walk to ONCAMPUS
• City centre and Westquay on your doorstep
• Asda superstore nearby

HOW IT WORKS
It's a straightforward takeover, not a sublet – you'd hold the tenancy directly with Homes for Students, with the same rights as any other resident. You create an account on the Homes for Students website to get a customer reference number, then email Homes for Students saying you'd like to take over my tenancy (room K225J). They handle the rest. You'll need a UK guarantor, as with any of their rooms.

No money changes hands between us at any point – there is no fee for a takeover, so please be wary of anyone asking you to pay for a room.
