Ideal for Post-Grad & Mature Students, they are the current residents in the house and there is an excellent like minded community in the house - two thirds of the people in the house renew for a second year (or more) in the house. We also welcome post grads from outside the U. K. who are studying at Southampton University. This academic year we had post grad students from France, Norway, Italy and USA as well as the UK.

The house is located halfway between the city centre and the University of Southampton Highfield Campus with Portswood at the end of the road. Southampton Common is at the other end of the road 2 minutes walk away.

The W1 bus route has a stop just outside the house, with a 2 minute walk for the U1 and 1 buses, and a couple of minutes walk for bus routes 2, 7 and U6.

The room is furnished with bed and bedside cabinets, wardrobe, drawers, sofa, desk and chair.

The house has 9 rooms with a mixture of sizes and en-suite / non en-suite. The virtue of the house is the size which means the house never feels crowded, and there are communal spaces (lounge etc) for being social with enough space to be separate if needed. Being solid brick construction noise doesn't travel either.

The communal areas - kitchen, lounge, toilets, bathrooms etc. are cleaned weekly.

Gas, Water, Electricity and Broadband/WiFi included.

If you have a car there are parking spaces on driveway, bike storage at rear.
