Double loft room

Furnished double room available in a calm, cosy home with all bills included. Located a short walk from Fratton station and many amenities (Baffled coffee, LIDL, Albert Rd) or 20 mins on foot to the seafront.

Your room enjoys a huge skylight and has an attached private workspace underneath with a desk, printer and clothes cupboard. You’ll live with me and my 16 year old mini dachshund who spends most of her days napping!

The lounge, kitchen and main bathroom are shared, and includes washer/dryer and dishwasher.

I work from home (in the arts) and there are lots of books and peaceful nooks for solo or co-working on laptops, including a sunny garden “office” with comfy outdoor sofas, fast WIFI, and a cold plunge tub.

In addition to the loft room, there is another bedroom (with a single/double trundle bed) which could be rented separately if needed. There’s plenty of space so I’m flexible to discuss moving furniture or bits around based on your needs.

Because my dog is very senior, a genuine love of dogs is important, as is keeping a fairly relaxed environment. I do like to host friends (and their kids) for the occasional dinner or drinks, and there are 2 sleeper sofas and another bathroom in my garage/studio so visitors will find a soft place to land if ever needed.

My vibe: I’m an early riser and focussed on work most days, but would definitely enjoy your company if you like swimming, music, beach walks, picnics, nature/plants, to cook/share dinner, or watch something on Netflix in the evenings.
