We’re looking for a new lodger to share our home with us — but this definitely isn’t your typical room-to-rent setup.

We’re an easy-going couple who work hard, enjoy life and take a lot of pride in where we live. As the photos hopefully show, the house has been finished to an exceptionally high standard throughout, and we’re looking for someone who will appreciate and respect it in the same way we do.

The room available is a beautifully presented double bedroom with its own private en-suite shower room, furnished to an excellent standard and with plenty of space. For the right person, we can also provide a TV with Sky, so you can have your own private space when you want it.

You’ll also have use of the rest of our home, including the incredible open-plan kitchen/living space, separate living room, utility room and outside space. This is very much our home rather than a traditional house share, so we want whoever moves in to feel comfortable and part of it rather than confined to their bedroom.

A very important part of the household is our three unbelievable dogs. They are a huge part of our lives and our home, so you absolutely must be a genuine dog lover and ideally have previous experience living with dogs. If dogs aren’t your thing, this simply won’t be the right fit.

As people, we’re relaxed and sociable but have high standards when it comes to cleanliness and looking after the house. Our lifestyle revolves around working hard, health and wellness, training, eating good food and generally looking after ourselves — but equally, we enjoy going out, having a drink and partying from time to time. Our motto is that life is all about balance.

We’re not looking for somebody who simply needs a room; we’d much rather find the right person whose personality and lifestyle fit naturally with ours. Someone independent, positive, respectful, clean and easy-going would fit in brilliantly.

The rent includes ALL bills, including utilities and high-speed broadband, so there are no additional household costs to worry about.
