Hello! My flatmate is moving out so I have a room available to rent in a 2 bed flat in Southsea near Palmerston Road. I’ve been living here for almost 2 years and am renting through a private landlord. The building is in a great central location, a stones throw from Palmerston road. We also have a wrap around balcony with views of the sea. The flat is mostly furnished with my own furniture. The available room comes with a small double bed if required but no other furniture. There is also a huge secure storage space in the basement of the building.

You’d be sharing with me, a 36-year-old professional working at the University of Portsmouth. I work a mix of days from home and in the office, and I’m pretty easy-going and relaxed at home. I love cooking, getting stuck into a good TV series or curling up with a book. I still enjoy the occasional night out, but I’m definitely more of a homebody these days!
It would be lovely to find someone who enjoys a friendly, sociable home where we can share the odd meal, have a chat or watch some TV together, but equally appreciates having their own space and downtime. I’d love for it to feel like a home for both of us, rather than just somewhere we happen to live!
