Double and Single Room Park Gate/Titchfield Common

Double room OR small single room available in bright and modern 4 bed semi-detached house, sharing with 64 year old bloke. Full use of lounge, kitchen, conservatory and garden, parking for your vehicle on drive (no vans, diggers, tractors etc!), it may be possible to stash a bicycle in the garage. Tenant has almost exclusive use of a modern tiled bathroom with separate bath and shower - very very occasionally a guest may use it, there is also a downstairs cloakroom; I have my own en-suite. Free Wi-Fi. No Sky TV but full sporting facilities available in the form of a dartboard:-)

I’m near Park Gate and the Locks Heath shopping Centre, they have Post Offices, Co Op, Waitrose, popular pub (The Talisman), Indian and Chinese takeaways and restaurants and kebab van. Easy access to Fareham, Portsmouth and Southampton, only a twelve minute walk to Swanwick Station, 5 min drive to M27, 15 min cycle to Whiteley shopping Centre, Segensworth also easy walking distance.

The rooms are available on a weekday only or full time basis and rent would be between £450 and £700 per month (some room for negotiation for the right candidate!) including bills. Note; I’d prefer to rent the double room though. I’m looking for an older, clean and tidy (no dishwasher so you wash your stuff up after a meal) professional. You must have a normal 9 - 5'ish, Monday to Friday work pattern as I find it distracting if you work regularly from home. I’m normally out three or more evenings a week to stave off cabin-fever. If you like scotch or the occasional trip to the pub that would be a bonus (but I’m not looking for a new Best Mate!)

Room available immediately subject to references and you not having a criminal record or any other skeletons in yer closet. Supply your own bedding.

The double room is not the biggest on the planet but has loads of storage, the single room is small but there is unlimited use of living room etc ie I view the arrangement as a house-share even though I'm the 'boss' ha ha. I will arrange my cooking times around you (within reason) to avoid a kitchen queue.
