Room for Rent in Central Winchester

We have a light and airy double room (single occupancy) for rent in our home. We are a family of 4 who live in Athelstan Road, SO23 in Winchester. It is a very short walk to the train station, an easy walk into town and the parks nearby and routes are straightforward to the University of WInchester and School of Art.

I am a GP (Dr) and my ex-military husband is a handy man and we have 2 calm and considerate children aged 16&18 yrs who go to school locally. We have had lodgers for the last 7 years and previously have always had an au-pair living in our house. We think we are quite fun and easygoing to live with! We have lived all over the world and are very welcoming and love languages, cooking and playing games as a family. We don’t smoke and would prefer the same from you. You would have your own double bedroom and share the family and spare bathrooms with the children.

Important - there is no car-parking available on site. Nearest public parking is Cattle Market car park.

Our current lodger is looking for her own place in the coming months so the room would be available from approx Sep.

The room would be £700 per month inclusive of all bills or £775 including meals taken with the family. We have Gousto meal boxes delivered each week and eat a wide variety of styles of food which we cook together and we all help with the household chores.
