Bright double room in house-share

Double bedroom

I'm looking for a tidy, easy-going housemate to join me and my dog in my three bedroom home in the Belmont area of Hereford.

The bedroom is a spacious, furnished double. There's an upstairs shower room and toilet, and an extra downstairs toilet shared with only one other person (me). The kitchen-diner and utility room/conservatory have just been totally redone and the lounge is freshly decorated. I have a bit more redecorating to do in the hallway/landing and downstairs toilet, which may be finished or ongoing depending when someone joins. There's a good sized front and back garden you'd be welcome to use.

Lots of parking on the road and a garage if you have a bike. It's a short drive or 10 minute cycle into town (almost entirely off-road down the Great Western Way and river path).

All bills included, subject to reasonable use.

There's freedom to use the whole house, not just be trapped in your room. A fortnightly cleaner will do deeper cleaning but I want someone who will reliably clean up after themselves, load/unload the dishwasher and just generally be a respectful housemate who helps keep the communal areas nice.

I have a pretty full on work life (part-time vicar and part-time writer) and I'm also involved in quite a bit of theatre stuff, so am pretty busy and in and out lots, but would love someone I get on well with, who might be up for occasionally hanging out or eating together. Bonus points if you share some of my nerdy interests like musical theatre, fantasy fiction, or D&D!

I have a very lovely cocker-poo, so you need to be a dog person. I'd consider someone with another dog, or other small pets (no cats, sorry) as long as the dog is fine with them.

I need to redecorate the smaller third bedroom, after which I might consider bringing in a third house-mate, if they fit in well.
