Top floor single room with a double bed in a shared house close to the town centre. The house is quite small but the rooms are a good size.
The other tenants have established the house as a home and are English and European. There is a shared kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms + 1 separate toilet, for 5 tenants. The back garden is paved with a seating area and there is parking for 2 cars out front which is used by current tenants. A new tenant with a car would need to book a parking permit from the council which we can help you do.
We, the landlords, live 3 miles away and are available to sort out any problems with the house immediately. We have been renting it for many years so we have plumbers and electricians on tap for emergencies. It is a sweet little house with really good access both to the motorway or the station or walking into Bishop's Stortford, this is why our tenants stay so long! We are looking for someone who is happy and comfortable sharing with others. All the facilities that you would need are in the house. The photos are recent but the furniture needs to be rearranged according to the new tenants needs.
We had a weekly cleaner for the communal areas but due to Covid, this has now gone 'in house' and can't be guaranteed over holiday periods.
