The house: The room is in an end-of-terrace house situated on a quiet residential road in Borehamwood. There are 4 bedrooms in total, a spacious and modern kitchen-dining room, a living room with flat screen TV, a shared bathroom, and a back garden that gets lots of sunlight. The high street and retail shopping park are a short walk away giving you easy access to a range of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets (Sainsbury’s Local, Lidl, Aldi, M&S Food, Tesco Extra).
The existing housemates: 1 female who works in marketing, and 2 males who working in recruitment and software engineering. Everyone is friendly and respectful of the space.
Getting around: There is quick and easy access to public transport. Elstree & Borehamwood rail station (Oyster card friendly) is a 2 minute walk away. From there, you can get to London St Pancras in 20 minutes. There are also TfL buses departing from the station - the 107 and 292 go to Edgware, Barnet and Colindale.
Useful things to know: The house is fitted with all modern appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave and American style fridge-freezer) and has wooden flooring throughout. The house is well maintained and we are always looking for ways to improve it. There is a cleaner (included in bills) that comes on a weekly basis, fast wifi (for those working from home), and there is an option for on-street parking.
