Rent can be reduced further if you are willing to help out with tasks and chores/duties/responsibilities around the house as I travel a lot for short teaching stints abroad.

Parking is easy and free. Monday yo Friday 8-6 requires a permit. Permit requires a lot of effort on your part and I suggest you check the welwyn Hatfield council website for what you need to do to get the resident permit. It's very cheap, but requires paperwork and you would have to register your car to the address.. As I say, quite a hassle but that is the norm in Hertfordshire.

Location: House is located in nice quiet road in Hatfield Business Park. In the very first residential development. Calm, quiet, safe, leafy, families in all nearby houses, whilst still being 5 minutes walk to UH de Havilland, Galleria, ocado head office, etc.

University of Hertfordshire = 5 min walk
David Lloyd gym = 4 minutes

There is a bus stop very near with regular buses to:
Train station,
St Albans,
Welwyn garden city,
Luton,
London Barnet, (reaches there in just 25 minutes), London Queensbury.

The houseshare in previous incarnations (combination of housemates) has always had a friendly, relaxed vibe, hanging out, making dinners together, whilst respectful of space and privacy. previous housemates have gone on to become and remain good friends..

A bit about me:
I was born in London. I grew up in London. And over the years I've lived in many cities, Bristol, Brighton, Birmingham, Shanghai, Las Palmas.
I've also done a fair bit of travel (51+ countries)
I arrived in Hatfield as I worked as a lecturer at University of Hertfordshire for some years (UH is a short walk away).
Open minded about the housemate, ideally would like to share with full time working professionals who are social but also like their own space. Who are clean and tidy and considerate of others.
