About the home ~
I live here and own the flat. It’s a bright, comfortable space with a really nice balance - friendly and social at times, but also calm and easy to live in.
I’m currently working in Milton Keynes, so I’m around mostly evenings and weekends. My partner Marie visits regularly too and adds to the relaxed, positive atmosphere here.
This isn’t a party house, but it’s also not somewhere where everyone hides away — more a place where people can chat, share the occasional meal, and feel at home without pressure.
The space ~
You’re welcome to use shared spaces - this isn’t a “live in your room” setup.
The flat includes shared access to:
• Living room
• Kitchen (with your own cupboard and fridge/freezer space)
• Bathroom and second toilet
• Balcony, communal garden, bike shed, and free parking
All bills are included, along with fibre broadband and a weekly cleaner for communal areas.
The bedroom comes furnished with:
• Memory foam bed
• Wardrobe and drawers
• Desk and TV
We’re a 10-minute walk from ASDA and close to Old Town, with great cafes, pubs, and Gadebridge Park nearby.
About me~
I’m easygoing and value a relaxed, low-stress home. I do yoga but this isn’t an ashram!
I enjoy good conversation, time outdoors, games, and the occasional shared meal - but I also really value everyone having their own space and independence.
I work in tech now after previously being a physics teacher (and a few random side adventures - happy to share!).
About you ~
I’m looking for someone who is:
• easy to live with and considerate
• comfortable communicating directly and calmly
• respectful of shared spaces and other people’s routines
• independent, with their own life and rhythm
I do enjoy a friendly, social home - chats in the kitchen, shared meals now and then, perhaps even an occasional games night, countryside walk, or show at the Old Town Hall - but it works best when everyone is naturally self-sufficient and things feel straightforward rather than intense.
Cleanliness and a generally relaxed approach to shared living are important.
The vibe ~
The aim is a home where:
• people get along easily
• things are communicated simply
• small issues stay small
• and everyone feels comfortable in their own space

Looking forward to hearing from you 🙂
