Double room in a stylish, centrally-located house

I’m looking for a friendly, considerate professional lodger to rent a lovely furnished double bedroom in my modern and well-kept 3-bedroom house in Hitchin.

The house is in a fantastic location – just a 5-minute walk to Hitchin mainline station and around 10 minutes into town, with parking. With easy access to shops, cafes, restaurants, local amenities and all Hitchin has to offer.

Would suit someone looking for a calm, comfortable home rather than a busy house share.

I love interiors and am really proud of the stylish (I think!), clean, tidy and welcoming home I've created.

Rent is £900 per calendar month – includes all bills (utilities, council tax, broadband etc.)

Ideally looking for a Monday–Friday lodger, though I may consider full time for the right person. Open to shorter lets and would consider full time on this basis.

Would ideally suit a professional in their 30s–40s who is tidy, respectful, and looking for a peaceful, homely base in a great location.

A Bit About Me

I am a 41 year old professional, who mainly works from home. I live in the property, but am away quite a lot, so you would often have the place to yourself. I am looking for someone who will treat my home with respect and enjoy a friendly but independent living arrangement. I also share a lovely border collie who sometimes stays with me, so someone who is happy around dogs is a must.
