The room has recently been redecorated and benefits from its own private in-room hydro shower, together with access to a separate downstairs WC that is used almost exclusively by the lodger, giving you a high level of privacy that's rarely found in a house share.

The house enjoys stunning countryside views and offers a large garden, off-street parking, high-speed broadband, Sky TV, and all bills are included.
Ideally located just 10–15 minutes from Hitchin station, Luton Airport and the M1, it's perfect for professionals working in Hitchin, Luton, Stevenage or commuting into London.

The village has a fantastic community feel, with two pubs, a café, sports club, gym, bike shop, 2 hairdrssers, a barbers, beauty salon and a newly opened Premier convenience store all within easy walking distance.

About Me
I'm 57 and run my own marketing and direct mail business. My children have now grown up and left home, so the house is much quieter these days.
I'm sociable, easy-going and respectful of other people's privacy and personal space. I'm an Arsenal supporter, enjoy the occasional pint at the local pub and prefer a relaxed, friendly home rather than a party house. Age has never been something I place much importance on. I have a youthful outlook on life and friends of all ages, so I'm simply looking for the right person rather than someone of a particular age. Whilst I smoke, the house is smoke-free indoors. I occasionally smoke outside/from my bedroom window, so there isn't smoking in the shared areas.

A cleaner visits every other Friday to keep the communal areas looking their best, and the exterior windows are professionally cleaned each month.

Looking For
I'm looking for a friendly, respectful and reliable professional who wants a comfortable home rather than simply somewhere to sleep. The room would suit someone working in Hitchin, Luton, Stevenage, at Luton Airport, or commuting into London.

Monday-to-Friday arrangements will also be considered.
