“The Studio” is an attractive, fully furnished, self-contained ground-floor garden annex forming part of a large traditional detached house. It has its own private entrance and offers comfortable, quiet and secure accommodation in a lovely setting.

The Studio includes a spacious double bed, wardrobe, private shower room with WC and washbasin, underfloor heating, 45" flat-screen Smart TV, rugs, two sofas, dining table and chairs, and patio doors opening onto a terrace.

There is also a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, twin induction hob and combination microwave/grill/oven, making the Studio completely independent for everyday living.

High-speed broadband is included.

The property is situated in a private cul-de-sac on the edge of Ashridge Forest, surrounded by countryside and with immediate access to woodland walks, cycle routes and jogging trails. Secure gated access and on-site parking for one car are provided.

Despite the peaceful location, the Studio is very conveniently situated:

Around 10 minutes by car to Berkhamsted Station and town centre

Approximately 15 minutes to St Albans and Hemel Hempstead

Convenient for the M1 and M25

Local convenience store, pub and restaurant approximately 5 minutes' walk away

Rent & Terms

£1,150 per month for single occupancy, including Council Tax [Band G ] and utilities.

The quoted rent is based on a flexible stay of six months or longer. Shorter stays may also be considered at a slightly higher monthly rate.

We are an easy-going, young-at-heart professional couple who work from home and are looking for a similarly considerate, tidy and independent professional person who will appreciate the peace, privacy and comfort the Studio offers.

It would particularly suit someone who works away from home during the day and enjoys returning to a quiet and comfortable private space in the evening.

Friends and family are very welcome to visit during the daytime, although the Studio is not suitable for regular overnight guests.

All cooking and meals are prepared within the Studio. There is no shared kitchen, lounge or communal meeting area.

An occasional cleaner is provided. Please note that there is currently no washing machine or tumble dryer, although good laundry facilities are available in nearby Berkhamsted.
