Double room in central St. Albans

Unfurnished double room available in two bedroom terraced house in central St. Albans.

Room is approximately 11' x 8'10 and has a built in double wardrobe, there's plenty of space for a double bed and extra clothes storage. The room also has access to the loft which is shared storage space but has plenty of room for storing bulky items (occasional access will be needed but notice given)

The rest of the house is fully furnished, and the property is well decorated and has plenty of kitchen storage etc.

Bathroom is shared and has storage space and there’s joint use of a washing machine, and airers etc too.

There's a small but well maintained garden, including garden furniture, and there is outdoors storage. There is also side access so if you have a bike it can be brought into the garden overnight.

The street itself is a 5 minute walk from the town centres and neighbours are lovely, on street parking is available via permit, can advise on cost. Theres loads of great coffee shops, pubs and shopping on the doorstep and the house is a 10 minute walk from St Albans City station.

Price for the room is inclusive of water and wifi, with remaining bills of gas / electric and council tax (band D) to be split depending on occupation (reduced rates for m-f stays available)

About me:

I'm a 35 year old working professional who works full time from home, with a 1 year old cat (no additional pets unfortunately) I'm usually out and about a fair bit at the weekends, but my evenings are usually gym then have dinner on the sofa. I don't smoke, and rarely drink during the week and love to cook. Ideally would want a housemate who wants to settle in and feel at home, I’m pretty easy going and like a trip out to the pub for a drink or a walk on the weekends but all my friends are local so if you’d rather keep to yourself that’s fine too!

I’m clean and tidy and looking for the same, but also happy to discuss splitting a cleaner if preferred.

I've lived in the house for a bit over a year now and the landlord / agent are very easy to deal with.

Looking for someone to commit to at least three months if possible, price is advertised for full time stay but if you're looking for somewhere part time I'd be open to negotiating.
