Lovely Mon-Fri Term Time Rooms Available

We have up to 2 rooms available for weekday/term time lodgers in our lovely log cabin in Kingussie. Ideal for trainee/probationer teachers.

There are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms in the property, a large kitchen/living/dining space, a sun room, study and a big utility room. There is also space for storage of bikes or outdoor equipment. There is plenty of off road parking space.

The house links straight into paths network in the local area and is 10-15 minutes walk from local shops and schools etc.

Our house is a family home which during the week is only occupied by myself, 43 year old civil Servant and sometimes my husband (44 year old professional in property development) and our 2 dogs, a large flat coated retriever and a border terrier. But we both work away a reasonable amount so you would have the place to yourself reasonably often.

We are a pretty easy going, welcoming bunch and love the outdoors, fitness (treadmill in house) and good food.

We have 2 spare bedrooms. One with a double bed and one with bunk beds. We are ideally looking for someone that is just looking for a weekday term time solution so that we have the place to ourselves when our kids are back at weekends and for holidays. Rates indicated are based on a commitment of a term/3month period at a time but if fewer nights or shorter commitment was needed we could discuss.
