The Cosy Cabin

THE CABIN VIBE
This is a unique space situated in ancient woodland, The space offers an open space living & sleeping area with a separate kitchen & bathroom with wonderful panoramic views of the trees & wildlife. There is also a small separate room with bunk beds.

The space has large windows giving you panoramic views of the woodland & nature all around you. If you sit quietly you will see red squirrels, Jays, Buzzards, all sorts of birds and on rare occasions foxes can be sited.

We also have a piano so you can play to your hearts content.

INTERNET
The internet works perfectly well except when the weather is extremely windy or rainy then it can be intermittent. If you have a problem please text us asap and we will come and sort it out for you. The estimated download speed is 29-42Mbps.

KITCHEN
Consists of a large portable baby belling oven, large air fryer, double induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, large toaster, kettle and slow cook. It is fully equipped with plates, bowls, glasses, mugs and all cooking items such as pots and pans. The induction hob has 2 rings and pots and pans are provided, however if you do bring your own they have to be compatible with an induction hob or they wont work.

EATING AREA
Small round table with 4 wooden seats and 2 additional fold up chairs. There is also a breakfast bar with two bar stools which is perfect for bird watching and squirrel spotting.

HEATING
There is an air conditioning unit in the space providing heat in winter and coolness in summer. There are also a few stand alone oil filled electric radiators.

The Log burning stove is currently out of action.

SLEEPING ARRAGEMENTS:

We now provide bedding for 1 double and 2 single beds but no towels.

There is one double bed, 1 single sofa bed, 1 double sofa bed and a small room with a bunkbed (2 single beds)

The main double bed is in the main room and there is a small room with bunkbeds.

BATHROOOM:
Hot shower, toilet, sink,, hand soap & bathroom mats.

OUTSIDE AREA
Picnic style bench and table and one fire pit. You need to bring your own logs for the outside fire pit. Sometimes you can get them from the local Tesco which is a few minutes drive or a 15 minute walk. There is a retractable washing line outside too.
