About me:
Hello, nice to e-meet you! I am Leander and I am 32 and I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Canterbury. I grew up in Canterbury, lived in London for 10 years working as a PA, and resettled in Deal about 6 months ago, and am now looking for a housemate to join my house :) In my free time, I enjoy a mix of things - gardening, cooking, choir singing, reading, museums, comedy nights, art, dinners with friends, and going on walks and cycle rides in the countryside. My parents live 5 minutes away so am often popping over to their’s!

I’m looking for:
A friendly and tidy person aged around 26-38 who has shared interests. I’d like to live with someone who enjoys a chat in the kitchen/over dinner and the occasional trip to the pub :) but also is happy to have time to themselves. Open to short-lets!
No smoking/vaping or pets please, thank you!

The room:
You will have a west-facing (sunset facing) double-room overlooking the large front garden. The room includes a double bed with under-bed storage, side table, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

The house:
The house is in great condition, is light, warm and clean. The ground floor has a sitting room/dining area, kitchen, a conservatory and courtyard back garden. The rear garden backs onto allotments, which has a lovely feel, and is not overlooked. You'll have shared use of all the downstairs area. Upstairs has 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower/bath, and a spare single bedroom. There is parking space available and a small amount of garage space (e. g. for a bicycle). The house is Council Tax Band C.

House Location:
Deal train station - 0.5 miles (12 mins walk)
Aldi/Sainsbury’s - 0.5 miles (12 mins walk)
Beach/high street/local library - 0.6 miles (15 mins walk)
The house is 0.2 miles (5 mins walk) from a large green park with tennis courts, and opposite Deal leisure centre which is being built and due to open in summer 2027 with swimming pool and gym.
