Double room in calm quiet, peaceful & mature home

Hi, I'm a resident Landlord with one bedroom to rent in my calm, quiet, peaceful & mature home 5-10min walk to town, the harbour & East Cliff.

Ideally looking for someone 40+ who will move in for at least 6 months but hopefully longer.

I have a furnished room available, which includes a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chair etc. I also provide a Freeview Box but you will need to bring your own TV.

All bills included including Sky Ultrafast Full Fibre Broadband. I also ask for a £175 deposit.

Looking for a like-minded, friendly & easy-going housemate. Someone who wants a quiet & peaceful home, who will be considerate & respectful of others in the house & is happy being independent & self-reliant.

House rules & standards include no smoking in the house, no drugs or drug odours, good mature standards of behaviour, cleanliness & noise etc & extra quiet consideration between 10pm-7am as it's professional home & people need their sleep including myself! I also have guest limits to avoid the house feeling overcrowded etc & I give a full house guide when moving in.

Although my home needs some decorating & modernising (it is not the Ritz unfortunately!) it is clean & tidy as best as I can. It is fully gas central heated, the kitchen has usual mod cons (although I'm not looking for a big foodie who is constantly cooking & spending excessive time in the kitchen) & there is a large bathroom plus a second toilet room. There is no living room but there is a communal yard with a shelter, tables & chairs, washing line & bike shed.

I also have a timid but friendly 18-year cat although she doesn't have free rein of the house.
