Double room in central Rochester flat (bills inc)

Double room available in a spacious, characterful flat in central Rochester, right by the Cathedral/Castle area and around a 5-minute walk to Rochester station.

The flat is a two-bedroom home, so you’d only be sharing with me rather than a large house share. There’s a large shared bathroom, a nicely decorated living room, and a long open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with plenty of space to use and enjoy the flat properly. The kitchen has the usual appliances, oven, hob, fridge, washing machine and cupboard space.

The room is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables and built-in storage/cupboard space.

A bit about me: I’m 31 and work in banking in London, usually hybrid/City office days. I’m tidy, fairly relaxed, and like the flat to feel like a proper home. I enjoy pubs, food, the gym, gaming, comedy, travelling and a decent chat, so it would be nice to live with someone I actually get on with rather than just passing each other in the hallway.

This would probably suit a tidy, respectful professional with a steady routine, who is sociable at times but also appreciates a calm home. I’m not looking for a party-house setup, but equally I’d like someone friendly who is up for a drink/pub occasionally, can communicate normally, washes up after themselves, and treats the place with care.
