Good size room with en-suite in quiet area

A good size room with en-suite bathroom in a detached house in Strood,

The house is old fashioned in style but very homely. In a pleasant area, with good garden space and a good amount of on street permit free parking, I feel it is a pretty decent proposition.

The room is furnished and is for single occupancy by an employed person. Good wardrobe space. The room has a double bed. The TV in the photos is for illustrative purposes only and not included. Contrary to the impression given by the poor quality photography, the room is quite bright.

The en-suite, pictured, will have WC, sink and a bath with thermostatic shower over. Mirror with lights and electric shaver point.

The bedroom pictured is not the one on offer, as it is not yet ready. It will however have the same layout and furniture, but with the bedroom being slightly smaller by a couple of feet in each direction.

I am expecting to be ready to occupy from 1 May 2024.

The kitchen is a decent size with a table that can seat 4. So although there is no communal lounge there is a space to sit and chat, or if you have people round with a take away etc.

I can allocate garage space if you have a pushbike.

If you wish to do gardening or grow vegetables then I can allocate space for that.

There are three current residents - me and two other. None of us is vegetarian. It's ok if you are, but bear it in mind that the kitchen facilities are shared. We are all sociable, although with our age profiles we all have other commitments and are out a lot of the time doing our own thing. It's not really a party house.

The rate at £725 is for an employed person who works at home not more than 1 day a week firm. It's a bit different if there is snow or train strikes, when working from home will be ok, but as a general proposition, a maximum of 1 day a week.

If you work at home full time the rate is £810.

I am happy to have a smoker, but no smoking inside the house.

It's not the cheapest room on here but it's a good one.
