Looking for a flatmate in a lovely Victorian house

Me and my gorgeous flatmate Silvie (they/them) are looking for someone to be our third in our beautiful Cambuslang house. We are avid decorators, gardeners, ceramicists and musicians. I moved into the house last April and while I had initial reservations about the distance from Glasgow (turns out public transport connections are better than Southside out here...), it has completely changed my life. Having a private garden to lounge in, a basement to practice piano (yes! we have an upright!) and the peace and calm to sit and read on a rainy day without feeling that creeping FOMO has made me a whole new woman!
We are looking for someone who is naturally tidy and clean, with green thumbs, and it's a real plus if you enjoy cooking and watching trash TV... We're both queer, so would be great if you were too, but it's not a strict requirement if not. We often end up on the couch with our two dogs (Hungarian mudis) on the sofa after long days of work, watching a show together with a glass of wine. Sometimes we host friends for dinners and parties, but on most weekends you'll find us in town. On weekdays we're mostly reading, researching, playing video games and music or watching TV. We are both in our 30s and think it would be nice with someone in the same age range. This is an old house with lots of character and it requires some tender love and care. But just like the soil surrounding it, it gives back bountifully! We love it here and would love to share it with you.
The room has an amazing sunset view and looks out over the hills. It's on the second floor of the house, which is shared with the bathroom and me! Silvie lives downstairs alongside the living room and kitchen (which leads straight into the garden via stairs).
Move in date is beginning of May, but if you're wanting to move in earlier that's also possible. Shoot us a message and we can discuss. Rent is 385PPM excl. bills. Trains from Cambuslang run to east, central and west several times an hour and trains from Burnside/Kirkhill take you straight to Southside four times an hour. We've both just started biking into town again after the long winter, a beautiful cycle along the canal, extremely life-giving! Obvious accessibility issue is rooms location on second floor accessible only via staircase. Big shops is walking distance. Send me a message with any questions! X
