About the flat:

The flat faces the main road and a parking lot at the back, creating ample of sunlight throughout the flat. The entire flat was unfurnished so everything that's there so far has been the existing tenant's stuff. The bathroom will be shared, comes with a bathtub, showerhead, mirror and exhaust. The kitchen comes with plenty of compartments to store your stuff, refrigerator, two ovens, washing machine and a dishwasher. All the rooms have blinds in them but if you want to put curtains, you're free to do so!

You're free to bring your own furniture to the house.

About the existing tenant:

I just moved in October and am still bringing some furniture along. You're welcome to bring along your stuff and add to the house decor as you wish! I am 23 and a queer poc individual so it would be preferred if the other tenant is queer or poc or shares a good outlook for the community! I am not a loud person and lurk quietly throughout the house so you can do your own thing and we can have a good chat every once in a while. I cook well sometimes so you'd be welcome to share my big meals. I enjoy gaming, art, crochet, gym and hiking. I don't smoke and occassionally drink but have no issues if you do. I wouldn't mind if you bring people around but this is not a party flat so it's advised to not be too noisy for the neighbours.
I work at a restaurant so it would be good to have another professional since it's easier to split the council tax and other bills. I have already paid £1500 as a deposit so you'd have to pay half the share (£750) as deposit. This property doesn't have HMO contracts so your tenancy would fall under mine. The landlord would put your name alongside mine as well since we'd be sharing the property. The rent for this flat is £800 per month and I occupy the smaller room with no wardrobe which is why you're going to have to pay £450 for your room.

Amenities:

The flat is 4-5 minutes away from the Coatbridge Sunnyside station which is 15 minutes away from Glasgow Queen Street. There's many restaurants, cafes and pubs to enjoy within 5-10 minutes of reach. Asda is the closest (5 minutes away) and there's a retail park that has Tesco, B&M, Matalan and many other big stores. There's two gyms nearby as well.
