Hey there,
I've got a fairly spacious, bright and comfortable fully furnished double room to let in my 3-bedroom flat in Anniesland, which benefits from a large (computer) desk and an adjustable computer/desk arm chair. See the photos & video.
The flat has: Wi-Fi, central heating, double glazing, washing machine, balcony, shared bathroom, kitchen & living room with a smart TV. There is also ample, free parking right outside the flat, at this quiet cul-de-sac end.
As for me - I'm 49 year old healthcare professional female (owner-occupier), who's an active, busy and VERY TIDY & CLEAN, friendly/sociable person but CERTAINLY NOT party animal & I'm teetotal!
I work Mon-Fri, 9-5 (currently ~3-4 days from home), yet still a bit of a night owl (respectful of those who are not, of course).
Location - only 10-15 minute walk to Anniesland/Jordanhill train stations (with direct trains to Glasgow City Centre & even Edinburgh) and Gartnavel Hospital & Anniesland College. The Clyde Tunnel, leading to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (& the adjacent Clydeside Expressway & Victoria Park) is only ~10 minute drive (outside the rush hour). OVO Hydro (largest entertainment venue in Scotland) is only 30min away (door to door), by frequent train connection.
There are also quite a few bus stops (within 5-10 minutes walking distance), which serve numerous bus routes around/out of Glasgow & to the North, via the A82.
4 Supermarkets /other shops, David Lloyd Leisure and a gym are all also within 5 minute walking distance, with the large Scotstoun Leisure Centre being 10 min drive. Few pubs, cafes and restaurants are also very close by, including Lock 27 pub, right on the Forth & Clyde Canal.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, please drop me a message & I'll give you my number (as system won't let me add it here).
Thanks Dominika.
Ps. Smoking only permitted on the balcony/outside. The rent is inclusive of ALL bills, including council tax (band C) and a cleaner, who comes twice a month.
Now, a couple of points/updates since recording of the video:
I updated the phone number in the ad to my own. And the guy in the video is my ex-lodger who went back home. He lived with me for 15 months & survived! 😉
These days, I'm still quite busy and somehow have much less time for that "chat", which he mentioned in the video, yet I still do like to be sociable with my lodger (time permitting), maybe sharing an occasional meal together.
And in the evenings, I am in, more often than not and often during the day, too.
Last not least, I'd expect my place to be treated with respect, kept clean & tidy, respecting 'quiet times' between ~11.30pm & 8.30am midweek (& ~11am at the weekends) and drunkenness/parties are out of question.
