All bills included. Private, quiet and peaceful home with room available in Clarkston. Available from January 1st 2026.

I'm a live in landlord and work from home, mostly.

I have a spacious attic conversion, newly decorated and carpeted, a double room, with a small double bed, a sofa seating area with tv and a work/study desk.

There is a designated shower room for personal use only.

There is a kitchen for communal use and a separate communal dining/garden room with TV.

All bedding, bathroom towels, kitchen/cooking requirements, separate fridge/freezer, are all provided. There is plenty storage space and a walk-in wardrobe area.

Broadband is the new city fibre, so is super fast.

I have my own separate lounge area,. I am a female, in my 50’s.

I have 2 friendly small dogs but have internal gates to keep them within their own living area, if you are not a dog lover (but it would help if you were as they love to meet and greet when you get home!). There is a great garden with large patio area so plenty space for outdoor relaxing.

Off road parking is available.
The house is close to 2 rail and many bus routes; a 5 minute walk to the train station with a 20 minute commute to Glasgow Central on the Neilston line. Or a 10 minute walk to the East Kilbride train line.
Bus stops are also a short walk away. A direct bus to the city centre & University of Glasgow is a 5 minute walk.

All bills are included. Central heating is on in the morning and during the evening. If you are working from home daytime there's a heater in the room.

I'm sociable and enjoy a chat but like my private space. I'm always on hand to help but the room is not for those looking for a flatmate to socialise with.

It's a safe, quiet space, in a safe area. My previous/current tenants have been PostGrads, senior year students, interns, enjoying the peace to work/study with easy access to the city, when needed.
