Hi, we're looking for a new flatmate. Short term considered but ideally 3 months +. Couples also considered but rent will be £50 extra per month.

£550 per month includes rent, internet and council tax. Energy bills will be split in half. Right now, it's about £120 a month, so £60 each. Energy costs will be lower in the warmer months.

The room is a decent sized double. It's got a double bed, bedside table, two chests of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. I'll happily switch out one of the chest of drawers for a desk, if needed.

I have no problem with you putting things on the walls, changing the furniture round and generally making it your own. There's also further storage space throughout the flat.

Thornliebank Station is five minutes walk away. Bus stop even closer.

A bit about me:

I'm a civil servant working in the office three days a week and at home two days. In the evenings I'm in comedy improv shows and rehearsals. I do a lot of cooking and sometimes have friends over for dinner. My partner is also a civil servant and a great cook! He owns a house in Coatbridge and we split our time between the flat and his house, so you'd have the place to yourself fairly often.
