Hi, I'm Martin :)
***Why are dogs mentioned?***
My main reason I'm looking for a lodger is I'm a hybrid worker - three days at home, two days in the office. So it would be very nice to have someone around so I'm not constantly organising for my dog to be looked after. She's low maintenance, more of a sofa decoration than a dog really, she's a greyhound so she sleeps for 18 hours a day.
So someone who is around at least two days during the work week would be perfect, other hybrid workers, home workers, freelancers, those w/ limited capacity for work etc could all suit that well. If you're around the occasional weekend night even better. If you ever want to take her for a whole week or weekend if I go away then amazing although I don't expect that and I have friends who can and do take her)
if you do take her for a week, no rent for said week :)
***About the place***
3 bedroom flat in Toryglen on the southside of Glasgow. Area is ok, we essentially have one shop which is a giant Asda. But it's decently connected to places you might also want to go to (Govanhill, Shawlands, central, Rutherglen on the other side)
In terms of accessibility we're on the top floor (3rd) and no lift.
Yours would be the second bedroom, I use the largest bedroom as a bedroom and the smallest one as an office (you're also welcome to use that when I'm not around).
Kitchen + bathroom look much the same as in photos, living room less so, the room being advertised is very recent, if you really hate purple we can discuss.
(Unfurnished)
***About me***
I'm a project manager full time, studying computing & IT part time. Originally from London. Like reading, like gaming, cooking, travelling, etc etc
***About you***
I don't really have too many demands apart from the aforementioned dog stuff obviously. Not leaving food around (especially chocolate and the like). Also a degree of cleanliness especially in common areas. i. e., dishes left out overnight before being washed is fine. Cups and bowls full of mould is...less fine
I'm bisexual and most of my friends are transgender, so I have a strong preference for an LGBT flatmate, but if you're not we should be fine as long as you're cool.
I don't mind if you're a smoker, you gotta go on the balcony though.
***About bills***
Rent includes council tax and internet, doesn't include gas + electric. Council tax band is B, don't know why you need to know that if I'm not charging you that but the website told me to put it. Should be <£400 pm all in, especially in summer.
UC/HB/DSS happily accepted
