Hi there,
My name is Maria and I am a 26 years old professional looking for a new flat mate to move in 28th August preferably.
A bit about myself, I am a young professional from Spain but been living in Scotland for over 7 years now. I am also a proud mum of my 2 baby cats, Lotus (7) & Sidney (1)
So the ideal candidate would be someone who loves animals and also likes cats, who is keen to look after them if I’m away for work or holidays and would also spend time with them naturally.
You will be living with myself in a 2 double bedroom flat that has been refurbished before I moved in the property, over a year ago.
Property has plenty of space, amenities include shared kitchen and toilet, as well as the living room. There is a laundry room, and a storage room in the living room, so plenty of storage and space across the flat
Flat is a ground floor too, so very easy for access. There is a shared back garden, where you can hang your laundry as well as that’s where the bin shed is.
Street is generally quiet and plenty space for parking if you drive and own a car.
Street is fairly quiet to not be far from the main road. Post office around the corner. 5 minutes walk to amenities shops (Co-op being the closest) and other local corner and small shops
Plenty of access to transport, having Cessnock subway under a 5 minute walk. Rental bikes outside this too, and plenty option for buses to City Centre or Cardonald.
Location it’s ideal, you’re not far from anywhere, 15 mins West End or the Southside either by bus or driving. Cycling is not far either, 15 minutes cycle to town.
Will be doing FaceTime interviews first to get to know the person, for me it’s about getting someone who matches my energy and who will be a good match to each other, with similar personalities that will not clash.
I would only be showing you the flat in person after we spoke on FaceTime and there is interested on both way, as that way I know you’re a possible candidate and save each others time :)
The ideal candidate would need to be pet-free (I’m sorry 🥲), to enjoy spending time with my cats while in the flat.
Someone tidy and who communicates freely and openly. No preference if student or professional. Looking for someone who enjoys their own company as well as socialising too at times, kind, mature and polite.
Every person it’s considered but preference will be given to single female candidates, as this is what I’m most comfortable living with.
The only ones I won’t consider at all it’s candidates with pets, I’m sorry.
I have tried this with my current flat mate and that’s why I’m needing to get a new flat mate, as our pets not getting along. (Small pets might be considered, depending on what)
Anything just ask, cheers x 🥰
