Room for Rent in Large Apartment Southside

The room is available from August 1st, 2026. All bills (Internet, utilities, etc) are included. Council Tax is not.

The room for rent is on the upper floor of a 132sqm flat. There is a spare room which can accommodate an occasional guest. My room is there too, but I am mostly away for work. There is a bathroom on the floor. The shower is awkward to photograph but it is a walk in and very nice.

I've set up the room with a desk and computer monitor. The bed has a great mattress and can be folded up if you want space during the day for whatever reason.

You will have access to the common spaces including the eat-in dining room and the living room. You can use the back garden if you want to. There is a washing and drying machine, but you can air dry clothes with the hoist if you prefer. There is a fridge freezer and a dishwasher in the kitchen. There is a pantry, so space for you to store your own food. The kitchen is equipped so you don't need anything.

You will share this big apartment with one other lodger most of the time. I'll be around for short stretches throughout the year, but I work abroad most of the time. My girlfriend will occasionally pass through. We have a group chat so everyone knows what's going on.

None of us smoke and no smoking or drug use of any kind is allowed in the flat; there are no pets.

The close is lovely with great neighbors.

The flat is walking distance to several grocery stores (Lidl, Morrison's, Sainsburies, Strawberry Gardens), parks (Queens, Maxwell, Pollock), and transportation links (Pollockshields West and East trains stations) and busses (Stagecoach 4, First 38, 57, 3, 90, McGill 3, N4).
