Double room in Glasgow’s Southside

Hello! I have a double room available for rent in Glasgow’s Southside — this is a *short-term let*. The room is only available from end of December 2026 to February 2027. I’ll be away for work so anybody interested in taking over this room will be sharing the flat with my lovely flatmate, Alison.

The room has a king size bed in a 2-bedroom flat on the second floor and is very close to public transport (the Pollokshields East train station is 5 min walk, the Shields Rd subway is about a 15 min walk and the flat is well connected to city buses). It’s close to Queens Park & Shawlands, and some lovely cafes and restaurants. There’s a wee garden and bike storage as well if that takes your fancy!

The flat itself has a big newly renovated kitchen and a dishwasher, a bathroom with a bathtub, a separate laundry, and a shared living room with a fireplace and double glazed bay windows. The rent is £650/month including bills - as the let is short term, I’m more than happy to chat more in person over a cuppa (if you’re in Glasgow) or send through any questions if you have them!

Things to note:
* Bills are included. Council tax band is C.
* Free street parking is available but the apartment is located in a cul de sac, so parking can occasionally be tricky.
* There are a handful of small grocers and supermarkets nearby that are open 7 days a week.
* Unfortunately my home cannot accommodate pets or young children.
