I am looking for a friendly, clean and considerate flatmate to rent out a spacious double bedroom in Pollokshields for the short or long term. The room is part of a two-bedroom traditional tenement flat, where you’ll be sharing the communal areas with the live-in landlord - that's me!

Perfect for a friendly professional or student who is tidy, independent, easy-going and, to be honest, a little fun! Bonus points for owning a jumper to save a few £s on the heating!

I am an easy-going fella who has come back to Scotland to retrain as a Physio. I lived abroad for a number of years in Canada, New Zealand and Japan living in wee ski towns. Between working, studying and other activities, I am usually relatively busy. However, I’m always up for a catch-up even after a big day!

I like to go bouldering, watching great/trashy movies, going for the odd run, going to the pub for a yarn and being outdoors.

I have lived with a good few folk now - ranging from a seasonal house-share to 5+ years longer-term lets. I reckon I have a good handle on good house-sharing etiquette and good at communicating. I hope you are too!

Transport links are excellent in the area:
One stop on the train to Glasgow Central (4min walk to station)
Subway is 15 min walk - good for access to the West End
Voi bike share station (2 min walk)

The bedroom is bright and spacious and comes furnished with a double bed, mattress and chest of drawers.

The kitchen comes with a fridge/freezer, gas oven, gas stoves, dishwasher and washing machine. Equipped with all utensils and crockery.

The bathroom is very large for a tenement flat and is composed of a bath and a separate shower unit.

The living room is very spacious and cosy.

Reliable Fibre wireless internet throughout the flat (~120mbps download speed)

On-street parking is also available. I love the area - very quiet for the vast majority of the year. There are no noisy neighbours and a very convenient 8 min walk to the Strathbungo area.

For me, choosing who to live with is about the person. I do need to meet a person in real life before making any decisions - video call applications therefore will not be accepted.
