Got a spare room in our bright 2-bed flat in Pollokshields — and it’s a good one. My flatmate is the one moving :)
The room is road-facing, so it gets loads of lovely natural light during the day, but it’s properly quiet at night.

Five-minute walk from Pollokshields East station and fifteen minutes from Shields Road subway, so very well connected.

Quick note: the furniture pictured in the room won’t be staying — but don’t worry, you won’t be sleeping on the floor! There will be a bed, a desk, and a clothes rail, but also fine if you have your own things and don’t need any furniture bits.

The flat itself has a big living room, a large kitchen, a bathroom, and plenty of storage space.

The money bit:
• Rent: £525/month (this might go up a touch with the new contract, but should be nothing dramatic)
• Bills: roughly £135/month on average (council tax, gas, electric & internet, all split)
So you’re looking at around £660/month all in.

Move-in: 15th July— flexible-ish

About Me: early-30s woman working in UI/UX, work from home. I’m into tennis and watching movies, and I’m always up for a dinner and a glass of wine together, but this isn’t a “party flat’’. I’m clean and tidy and looking for someone the same — not militant about it, but I like the place kept nice. Easy-going, longer-term flatmate ideal, sorry no students unless you’re happy to share the council tax. 🙂
