Flatmate Wanted for South Side Flat!

Hi, I'm Anoosha!

My flatmate is moving out, so I'm looking for someone to take over her room. The move-in date is likely to be between 1st and 15th August (I should be able to confirm the exact date soon). The landlord will require a credit check and references through OpenRent.

Rent: £550/month
Council Tax: Band C
Energy: Around £30–50/month, depending on usage
Wi-Fi: £15/month

The flat is a bright, 2-bedroom tenement flat on the second floor in Shawlands. It has one bathroom, a separate small kitchen but big fridge/freezer a cupboard in the hallway, and a big living/dining room. The available bedroom is the larger of the two and gets gorgeous natural sunlight. It comes furnished with a double bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelving, and a mirror.

The location is brilliant, within walking distance of all the cafés, pubs, shops, and parks that the Southside has to offer. We're also right beside a major bus stop and train station, so getting around is really easy. I absolutely love living here. it's a lovely flat, and the Southside is the best time.

A bit about me: I've lived in Glasgow for six years and work in Cowcaddens for a housing decarbonisation co-op. I usually work from home 1/2 days a week.

I'm veggie (occasionally eat fish), love cooking, playing football, swimming, wandering around Queen's Park, reading, going for drinks with friends, and seeing live music whenever I can.

I'm so very sad to see my current flatmate leave, so I'm hoping to find someone who wants to contribute to making the flat a lovely home and where we get on well and share some meals occasionally, go to the pub/park, watch a movie/shows. Of course while respecting each other's space and independence.
I'd like us both to contribute to keeping it tidy, respectful, and welcoming. I'd also expect us to agree on and stick to a cleaning rota, and use Splitwise to keep track of shared household expenses.
