Lovely double room near Glasgow West End

The room for rent

Hello,

I have a room to rent in my lovely bright yet cosy home in Anniesland near Glasgow’s west end.

The room is a small double room yet is still quite spacious. It is furnished with a small double bed, a chest of drawers, a book shelf, and place to hang your clothes.

There is a shared kitchen and bathroom with a good shower, and a big bright living room with a lovely view of the hills and gorgeous sunsets.

The flat is within 5 minutes walking distance to the supermarket (Morissons and Lidl) and the gym. Also M&S food is about a ten minute walk away. There is a shared garden out the front and back of the flat with lots of lovely Rowan trees and bird song, and there are also plenty of local parks within walking distance such as the science park and Victoria park.

The flat is 8 minutes walk to the local train station with direct links to the city centre. The west end is about a 50 minutes walk or a 10-15 minute bus journey. I tend to walk it as I like to get my steps in but there are plenty of regular buses. There is also free parking out the front.

About me: I am a working professional who works Monday to Friday 9-5. When I’m not at work I’m usually at the gym or Pilates, painting or occasionally making music, and sometimes I head out on adventures to the Scottish Highlands. I occasionally like to have my friends over for cocktails but otherwise I live quite quietly and peacefully and would appreciate living with someone who enjoys the same vibe. Until now I have always been a lodger in someone else’s home so I am very used to living with others and respecting each others space.

I would like to live with someone who appreciates a clean home, and would prefer someone who does not work from home full time although a couple of days a week would be okay.

The council tax is band C and bills are included in the rent of £670

I am open to short as well as longterm lets if it’s a good fit, students are also welcome.
