Flatmate wanted Southside, Glasgow - Cosy 2 bed

My flatmate is moving in with her partner on 16th October, so I’m looking for someone to move in with me 😊

It’s a 2-bedroom tenement flat in the Southside, near Queens Park, with:

1 bathroom with shower, big kitchen, cosy living room, communal garden, unfurnished (although I own most of the furniture, so you’d really only need to furnish your bedroom).

I’ve lived here with my current flatmate for nearly 2 years, and we’ve absolutely loved it. It’s very much a home rather than just a place to live, so I’d love to find someone who will enjoy, appreciate and look after the space too.

A little about me:

I’m a very social person and would ideally love a flatmate who is also up for having a bit of a friendship i. e cooking together, sharing dinner, watching films, going to the pub, having a glass of wine at home or occasionally having friends over.

I love hosting dinner parties, cooking, drinking wine, watching films, doing art and generally chilling. I’m also biiiig into running and am part of Outlier Run Club, love walking/hiking and trips to the park, and I’ve just got a new road bike. Weekends are often a mix of coffees, walks, runs, pubs and seeing friends.

It would also be lovely to have someone who becomes part of each other’s friendship circles. Equally, I completely appreciate having your own space and time to yourself, and would want that balance too.

I currently work in the office 5 days a week but will likely be moving to a more remote setup soon. I also travel to Aberdeen for work for weeks at a time every now and then, and usually go home to England for around 7–10 days, three times a year - so there will be a decent amount of time when you’ll have the flat to yourself too.

Rent + bills + WiFi + council tax comes to around £658 per month total
