Hi!
My flatmate is just moving in with his girlfriend to a new flat soon and I’m looking for someone to take up his old room.
We live in a pretty nice flat in Laurieston that’s just a 2-3 minute walk from Bridge Street Subway Station.
We’ve got a bright and decent-sized living room, a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, and a storage room.
Your room has got a double-bed and a built-in wardrobe. All the windows are double-glazed and everything is electric-heated.
There's a secure entry system and a shared garden downstairs.
We’re super close to the subway as I mentioned and the flat is otherwise pretty close to the M8/M74 and a 10-minute walk to Glasgow Central.
We pay £925 in rent, which works out as £462.5 each (the deposit is the same amount). We are in tax band C, which works out as £105 each a month. Energy rating is also band C.
As for myself, I’ve got an office job in city centre that I just walk to. More importantly, I’d like to think I’m a friendly person; not one to start a conversation very often but also not one to shut up once someone gets me talking.
In fairness, I’ll also say that the landlords are pretty sound, and have been proactive on the rare occasion there’s been any issues in the year or so I’ve lived here.
I’ll post more pictures soon! Feel free to contact me with any questions :)
