Clean Furnished Double Room in City Centre Flat

My flatmate/friend is moving out having decided to move closer to work. I am looking for someone sociable to join me in the city centre by taking up his tenancy.

The eleventh floor flat is located on Bothwell street, only 5 minutes’ walk to central station and 10 minutes’ walk to Buchanan street. It comes almost fully furnished - see photos. Double bed + mattress, wardrobe, chest of draws and bedside table are provided.

The living room/kitchen is clean, well lit and spacious. Toaster, microwave, kettle are all here. Similarly, kitchen utensils and crockery are available from the landlord if required - although I use my own.

The rent is £461 a month which is a good price for the city centre. Unfortunately, the flat is in tax band F; thus, the council tax bill is ca. £135 a month. Additional bills are ca. £80-90 a month - Total cost is roughly £690. I am not subletting this flat - we would be on equal terms with the landlord. It’s managed by Clyde Properties which have been good at fixing issues when they have arisen. Clyde properties will require a reference check.

About me; I graduated from Strathclyde University Three year ago and decided to stay in the city. I currently have a graduate job as a Manufacturing Engineer which I commute to outside of Glasgow. I spend my evenings either in the gym, running, or with my friends. I spend my weekends being active too or having drinks with friends/ eating in restaurants. I enjoy cooking and keeping the place tidy having worked as a seasoniare in the French alps.

I'm looking for a young professional that will call the flat ‘Home’. Since the flat is quite small, it is important to me that we get on well and are social. If you think we'd get on, then give me a message with some information about you and we can find a time for you to come around and visit.

Landlord will not accept pets, couples, or students.

Clyde properties request 2 months rent as a deposit.

I have put the move in date as the 13th of June but this can be negotiated to be brought forward if necessary.
