Large double room on Sauchiehall Street

We have a furnished double room available from Monday 28 September in our flat in the beautiful Beresford Building, near Charing Cross.

The room has a queen-size bed, TV, drawers, bedside table, built-in wardrobe and two big windows. The flat is a large, bright two-bed, two-bath flat with a big open-plan kitchen/living room, dishwasher, fibre WiFi and underfloor heating. Heating and water are included.

We’re looking for someone, ideally around our age, who is sociable, friendly and tidy. The sociable side is important to us — we often have friends over for food, films or games, and we’d really like someone who enjoys chatting, hanging out and being part of the flat rather than just keeping completely to themselves.

We’d like to find someone we genuinely get on with, as the flat is very much a shared home.

Rent is £598 a month, paid on the 12th of each month. Bills are £30, council tax is £59, and WiFi is £10. Deposit is £500.

If moving in before 12 October, the first rent payment would be worked out proportionally for the days before then.

We’ll have a simple written lodging agreement agreed and signed before move-in. The £500 deposit and any rent due for the initial move-in period will need to be paid before keys are handed over.

No smoking inside, no pets, and ideally looking for someone for the academic year.
