Hi there!
I’ve bought my 3 bedroom flat and had a contractor completely renovate my whole flat so everything in the flat is constructed with a higher quality finishing and I live in it.
I’m looking for a flatmate that is :
- neat and tidy (I’ve got a robot vacuum cleaner that vacuums up the flat twice a week to keep things clean but he is limited because he has no hands)
- sociable and friendly but not partying every night
- professional (NOT a student)
- open minded
- responsible
I’m pretty chilled out, extroverted introvert so I like to socialise but also need to recharge my battery from time to time. In my spare time, I like to read, listen to music, go to gigs, walk in parks, play video games, yoga, hill walk and do my martial arts.
The flat has 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom.
DOUBLE BEDROOM AMENITIES:
- New large Double Glazed Windows for noise and heat insulation and the window brings in a lot of natural light because the flat is south facing
- New efficient electric radiators
- Blackout blinds and curtains
- Desk and chair
- New bed and mattresses
- Bedside table
- IKEA PAX wardrobe with plenty of storage space
- New carpets
- Mattress protectors for hygiene
LIVING ROOM AMENITIES:
- Large two new double glazed windows to insulate heat and noise
- Dimmer light switches that helps with movie nights
- Projector and speakers (for said movie or video games nights with new flatmates which is optional!)
- Extendable Dining table for when guests are over
- Dining chairs and bench
- 2 Lounging chairs to look outside at an old church and the botanical garden
- 3 person sofa
BATHROOM AMENITIES:
- Extended shower tray
- Fan extractor (to make sure no mold grows and it can be turned on separately from the light so you don’t keep hearing the fan when you’re not taking a showe)
- Heated towel rack
KITCHEN AMENITIES:
- Full sized dishwasher
- Induction hob
- Electric grill
- Electric oven
- Extractor hood
- Fridge Freezer
- Integrated washing machine and dryer
- Microwave
- Toaster
- Kettle
PETS
I don’t have any pets but my flatmate has a dog (hybrid mix) and they will move out on July 2027 when their work contract ends.
PRICE AND BILLS:
- Double room £625 pcm ( I would be open to short term please DM and we can discuss)
- Council tax £315 in total pcm (if there are 3 professionals then it would be cheaper)
- Electric bills approximately £30-120 per person per month (cheaper during summer) .
- Council tax band E
- No gas in the property

HILLHEAD AREA INFO
My flat is near Hillhead which has many independently owned pubs with nice ambience such as Hillhead book club and Oran Mor where they recently shot parts of the new movie Batgirl for. The restaurants nearby have Michelin stars, and the cafes are cute with nice vibes, coffee and they are all locally owned or run with the exception of Starbucks and Pret A Manger.
Weekend getaways to have brunch, lunch and night outs are a favourite for the locals who live within or outskirts of Glasgow thanks to rich variety of restaurant at your doorsteps.
Being next to the botanical garden and the university of Glasgow, Hillhead is a wonderful place to go for (short or long) walks if you appreciate nature or the old architecture of the university. The university library or Hillhead public library is very close so you can duck in for some quiet study space. During the summer, the closely located kelvin river walkway provides a tranquil area to walk and relax when the weather is nice.
