Hello!

A spacious and bright double room from 1st May to 1st September 2026, as I’ll be away for field research during this period.

The flat includes three rooms and a shared kitchen and a bathroom, all well maintained and practical.

The room is fully furnished and offers plenty of living and storage space, including a double bed, wardrobe, desk, drawers, and lots of natural light. It has a lovely atmosphere and a great view overlooking Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the University of Glasgow, making it a really special place to stay.

This would be ideal for someone visiting Glasgow short-term, or for anyone needing a temporary base while looking for long-term accommodation.

Minimum stay is 3 months.

Location:
The flat is located in one of Glasgow’s most desirable areas: the West End (Finnieston / Sauchiehall Street). It’s just a 10-minute walk to the University of Glasgow and around 25 minutes on foot to the city centre. The University of Strathclyde is also easily accessible, with a bus stop right outside the flat and nearby train connections. The area is full of great cafés, restaurants, and shops, and it’s only about a 15-minute walk to lively spots like Byres Road and Great Western Road.

Flatmates:
You’ll be living with two amazing young researchers, both working as research assistants at the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde. They are friendly, easygoing, and respectful, and they keep the flat clean and comfortable. The flat would suit someone tidy and respectful who’s happy to help keep shared spaces clean and comfortable. It’s a calm and friendly household, ideal for young professionals or mature students.

Rent and deposit:
Rent is £750 per month (all bills and Council Tax included). One month’s rent plus a deposit equal to one month’s rent is required upon move-in (deposit will be returned at the end of the stay or can be used as the last month’s rent).
