Bright Double Room in Hyndland | 1 August

A bright, spacious double room is available in a well-maintained flat in the heart of Hyndland, available from 1st August.

The flat is in a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk from the front door to the train platform at Hyndland Station, making it ideal for commuting into Glasgow city centre and beyond. There are also plenty of great cafés, bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance.

The room comes fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, desk and chest of drawers, and benefits from a large window that lets in plenty of natural light.

The room is becoming available because my current flatmate is moving in with his girlfriend, so I’m looking for someone who’ll be a good fit for the flat.

You’ll be sharing with me—I’m a 26-year-old architectural assistant. I’m looking for someone who’s friendly, respectful, tidy and easy to live with. It’s a relaxed, clean and sociable flat rather than a party flat, and I’m keen to find someone who’ll treat it like home.

Rent is £650 per month, with bills not included. Bills (including gas, electricity, broadband, council tax and other household costs) typically average £170–£180 per month. The deposit is £400.

You would be joining the existing joint tenancy, so the landlord will carry out referencing and would also like to meet the successful applicant before confirming the tenancy.

Although the room is available from 1st August, I’m hoping to arrange viewings and informal chats during the first two weeks of July so everything can be sorted well in advance.
