Double Room in West End Flat - Thornwood/Broomhill

I'm looking for a lovely new flatmate to join me in a ground-floor flat in the Thornwood/Broomhill area of Glasgow's West End.

My current flatmate is sadly moving out at the end of November, so I'm looking for someone to take over her room and join me on the lease from 1st December (although there may be a little flexibility with dates).

You'll have a spacious, unfurnished double bedroom and sole use of the main bathroom, so plenty of your own space. The bedroom can be left with the clothes rail and bedside tables if you'd like them, but the rest of the furniture will be removed.

There's also on-street parking (no permit required) and a shared communal garden with drying lines.

Rent: £600 per month
Deposit: £650

Bills are split equally between us, with the current approximate monthly costs per person being:
Council Tax (Band C): £87.50
Gas & Electricity: £62.50
WiFi: £14

We'll both be named on the joint tenancy agreement, subject to the usual landlord approval and referencing.

I'm 29 (turning 30 at the end of January...) and moved to Glasgow in May 2025. I'm a self-employed wedding planner, so I mainly work from home, although between March and October I'm often travelling away for weddings and work commitments. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces, so ideally looking for someone similar.

You'll also be sharing the flat with Bonnie, my 3-year-old mini Labradoodle! She's super friendly and absolutely loves people.

Outside of work, I love getting out for walks with Bonnie, trying new restaurants, heading to the pub and catching up with friends. I'm pretty sociable and enjoy having friends over occasionally, but equally love a cosy night in and having my own space.

I'd be open to someone moving in with another dog, although this would need to be approved by the landlord first. Unfortunately, no cats.

I'd love to find someone who's at a similar stage of life and who I genuinely click with - up for a glass of wine, girlie nights in, a spontaneous pub trip or a good kitchen catch-up, but who also appreciates having their own independence and personal space.

My current flatmate has become a really close friend, so I'm genuinely sad to see her go! If you think you'd be a good fit, please send me a little message.
