My flatmate just moved out this month, and I am looking for someone new to live with. I will be your live-in landlord.

The room is a spacious double bedroom with a king-size bed and a small storage box. There isn't a wardrobe currently, as my last flatmate was a minimalist. There is an old chair left behind by a previous flatmate, but I am more than happy to replace it and arrange a wardrobe for you if needed.

The fully equipped kitchen is generously proportioned, meaning half of it serves as a comfortable living area.

Your share of the bills will be around £75–£100 per month (depending on usage), which includes gas, electricity, and fast fibre-optic broadband. Please note that a TV licence is not included.

The flat is about a half-hour walk from the University of Glasgow. A large Tesco is right across the street, along with a McDonald's and plenty of great local shops and pubs.

I am a friendly, open-minded person who has lived in shared flats for 12 years. I am now working full-time, though I still head to UofG on Monday evenings for an A1 French class, and I am part of the Glasgow University Mountaineering Club. I have my weekends free and prefer to spend them outdoors. I'm a keen mountaineer and have just finished bagging all 282 Munros, so it would be fantastic to live with a fellow climber or hillwalker who might want to head up to the Highlands together on weekends.

I enjoy having a chat and a drink in the evening, but I prefer a quiet flat and don't host parties unless it’s a small gathering for a special occasion.

Students are very welcome to apply, provided you can commit to staying for at least a year.

I will be away from 06/09/2026 until 20/09/2026, so I am looking for someone who can move in either before or after those dates.

Apart from your room, the pictures in this advert are a few years old, and I will be replacing them within a few days. However, I would love for you to come and see the flat in person anyway, so we can have a chat and see if we get along.
