Bright Double Room Available in Mount Florida

A bright double room is available in a lovely two-bedroom first-floor flat in Mount Florida. I've been living here for around a year and a half and have really enjoyed it. I really like the flat, so I'd prefer to share with someone rather than move to a one-bed place.

About The Flat

The flat is bright throughout, with a sunny east-facing living room that's great in the mornings and a south-facing bedroom that gets plenty of natural light throughout the day.

It originally came unfurnished, but it's now well furnished throughout apart from the bedroom, which currently has a double bed and a chest of drawers. If you'd like additional basic furniture, I'm happy to provide it, or you're very welcome to bring your own and make the room your own.

- Fully equipped kitchen (except for a microwave but we can get one if needed).

The Area

Mount Florida is a fantastic place to live, with Queens Park, cafés, pubs, Asda and Tesco Express just a couple of minutes' walk away, and Mount Florida station around a 6–7 minute walk. It's easy to get into Glasgow city centre while still enjoying a quieter neighbourhood.

About Me

I'm a professional working in the energy industry and usually work from home three or four days a week. However, I'm often out training in the afternoons and at weekends or away on holiday.

Outside work, I'm very active and spend a lot of my time rowing or cycling. I like keeping the flat tidy and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere at home. As a bonus, I have a pretty good coffee set-up, a car and am happy to give lifts sometimes (happy to help with the move if needed); I've got a Costco membership, and I can help out with bike repairs if anything comes up.

Looking For

Ideally, I'm looking for someone who's easy to live with, keeps the place clean and has similar interests and lifestyle. It'd be good to find someone I actually get on with, whether that's chatting over a beer or coffee, or heading out for a bike ride or hike occasionally. No expectations, just looking for a good flatmate rather than simply someone to share the flat with.
