Our 3 bedroom / 1 bathroom, south-facing traditional tenement building is a sun-trap in the warmer months and provides good warmth and shelter in the colder ones.
A stones throw away from Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow University and the Botanics. Partick train station is a 2 minute cycle away and Kelvinhall is only a couple of streets away from us. We are spoilt for choice when it comes to independent cafes, bakeries, refill shops and restaurants - we are surrounded - a sourdough and artisan cheese lover's paradise!
We are looking for someone to share our space with, who would also be comfortable sharing with a family (we have an amazing little toddler). Your room and the living room are south facing.
We are a professional couple who work in architecture and mental health.
Organic, locally sourced food is important to us and we do our best to live a plastic free and sustainable lifestyle, leaving behind as little impact as possible. We do however, respect that with the cost of living crisis, this is not always possible. We do ask that no raw meat is prepared in the kitchen using our kitchen equipment as one of us is a vegan.
We would like to live with someone who shares our values in this respect, supporting local, independent businesses who supply the community with ethically produced goods and services, wherever possible.
Whilst we do have a deep appreciation for quiet, mindful living and someone who might also be keen on getting to know us as people too; we do also have a toddler, so it is important to seriously consider whether this is a committment that you are comfortable with.
We welcome both professionals and students alike, with a particular preference for mindful, environmentally friendly individuals and empowered women (feminist male allies will also be considered!).
The room is double and it comes furnished. Currently, there is a futon which can be folded up as a sofa.
We have a lovely patch of shared garden in the back that enjoys quite a bit of sunshine so if you are green fingered, this could be an extra bonus.

We welcome applicants who would be happy to share communally all kitchen utensils, wherever possible.
