Spacious double room and garden in southside

Looking for a housemate to share my queer-friendly house in Rutherglen, available from November 2026.

The room is light and spacious with a double ottoman bed, Emma mattress, wardrobe, drawers, bedside table and big windows with lovely views of the Campsies. I’m very happy for you to decorate the room to make it your own!

There is a large south-facing garden that can be used at any time and is a real sun trap! I’ve also got outdoor seating, an outdoor fire pit and hopefully will be growing some veg in the spring. There is also free on street parking.

The location is really convenient, it’s a 10 minute drive/uber from the Southside and 15 minutes to town. There are train stations (Burnside/Rutherglen) which are a 10 minute walk from the house that can get you into the southside or town very easily in under 10 minutes. There’s a Lidl and big Tesco very close by and a Pure Gym round the corner too. There’s some cute coffee shops and cafes within walking distance.

I work from home a few days a week and am in the office sometimes too. I’m very easy-going to live with and like having a chatty, relaxed vibe in the house but am also respectful of people’s space. I love climbing, playing football, queer nights out, hanging out with pals in the pub, as well as having friends over for BBQs and dinner parties.

Current housemate is happy to chat before she heads back to Aus!
