Room available - Southside

I have a room available from August 25 in Shawlands! The flat is small, but pretty comfortable and functional! It’s situated in a peaceful neighbourhood just 5-10mins walk from Pollokshaws East train station and multiple bus routes to central Glasgow. 5 different supermarkets are within walking distance, as are both Queens Park and Pollok Country Park. Council tax is band B.

A little bit about me (the other tenant) - I’m an Aussie who’s been living in Scotland nearly 4 years. I’m not a party person or a huge drinker, but I do enjoy a chill drink with mates! I work as a freelance trumpet player and also in the tourism industry. As a flat mate I often keep to myself and like to keep a tidy and organised flat. A few of my hobbies are Aussie rules football, riding, and visiting medieval churches!

Please note - the available room and flat is unfurnished so you would have to provide a bed and any other furniture for the bedroom (the loungeroom does have furniture in it). Parking is available although very limited. The landlord would prefer someone who is looking for a long term rent, so please keep this in mind.
